Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of sedonapassport.com and the Sedona Passport mobile app (together, the "Service"), operated by Sedona Passport. By creating an account, purchasing a Sedona Passport, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Accounts

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for anything that happens under your account. Business owner accounts are password-protected — keep your password confidential. Customer accounts sign in via a one-time link emailed to you; anyone with access to that email can sign in as you, so keep your email account secure.

The Sedona Passport Membership

• The paid Sedona Passport is a one-year membership that unlocks deals at participating local businesses ("partners"), redeemable in person by showing your account in the app.
• Each deal is offered by the individual partner business, not by Sedona Passport, and may be limited (for example, to one redemption per partner per rolling 12-month period). Partners can change or discontinue their offer at any time.
• Passport purchases are processed by Stripe. Unless required otherwise by law, purchases are non-refundable once the membership period has begun.
• We may cancel or suspend a membership if we reasonably believe it's being used fraudulently or in violation of these Terms.

Business Listings

• Free and paid business listings are subject to admin review and approval, and we may decline or remove a listing at our discretion — for example, if it's inaccurate, misleading, or violates these Terms.
• Paid listing plans (Standard, Pro) renew automatically each year via Stripe unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of your own listing content — hours, pricing, photos, and any deal you offer to Passport holders.

The Hunt

The Hunt is a time-limited scavenger-hunt event available to active Passport holders. Participation requires granting location access for the duration of the event, for the sole purpose of verifying check-ins. Points, rewards, and prize eligibility are determined at our discretion, and event windows, objectives, and rewards may change between cycles.

Affiliate & Referral Programs

Commissions and referral rewards are earned only on conversions we can verify were properly attributed (via a referral link or code). We reserve the right to withhold or reverse a commission or reward obtained through fraud, self-referral, or abuse of the program.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any local, state, or federal law
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its data
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, reviews, or hunt submissions
• Scrape, resell, or republish content from the Service without our written permission

Content You Submit

Anything you submit — reviews, photos, videos, messages — must be your own or something you have the right to share. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and reproduce that content in connection with operating and promoting the Service. You're responsible for what you submit.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." We do our best to keep listing information, trail information, and hunt objectives accurate and up to date, but we don't guarantee it — always confirm hours, conditions, and details directly with a business or trail authority before you go. Trails and outdoor activities carry inherent risk; use your own judgment and follow posted safety guidance.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sedona Passport is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including issues with a partner business's deal, listing accuracy, or event participation.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
